My novel: First of all, thank you everyone who has asked me where they can find my novel Pyramid of the Sun.  After more than a year of near misses in the publication department, I have decided to give the novel a major facelift and then try again as soon as the overhaul is finished. My current occupations: I’m a  writer, photographer, video journalist and blackjack dealer.  I’m also a full time graduate student.  I’ll be finished with my MFA in Creative Writing from UNLV in 2012.

My former occupations: In the past, I have worked as a casino dealer at the Hard Rock Hotel, an ESL teacher in Russia, Thailand, and Korea, a national park ranger in San Antonio, Texas, and a go-go dancer in Spain and the U.S.

My credo: I believe that writing, reading, education and truthful, uncensored, creative self-expression can make the world a better place.  I believe one writer has the power to change the world. Not sure if that writer will ever be me but that’s what I’m setting out to do anyway, one book, thought, hope, prayer & mind, at a time.  Who’s on board?
